War of Rights
100 years ago the Baron of Colsyl broke from the Archduchy. The city of Tabersyl, then called Colsyl, was the seat of her power. The Barony managed to stay independent for 10 years, constructing great works around the city, but eventually the land was reunited during the War of Rights. House Col was unseated and the Barony was given the House Taber, whose patriarch was the general for the Archduke during the War of Rights.
House Col was forced to mingle of the last few generations with House Taber, but still resents losing their seat of power and independence. House Col still owns many holding throughout the region, mostly land or businesses thought too poor to be confiscated by the crown or given to the new Baron.
